📣 Event Update: Holiday HeARTs
Unfortunately, due to our inability to secure the vital funding needed to support the events, along with current staffing shortages, Ronin Project has made the difficult decision to cancel our scheduled Holiday HeARTs events.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported, partnered with, and believed in this initiative. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Ronin Project. 🖤❤️🤍
A healing arts experience hosted by Ronin Project — bringing creativity, comfort, and care to families living in shelters or recovering from domestic violence.
These private events are scheduled for November 14th and December 5th. We need your help to make it a reality.
We are partnering with PeaceWorks, Inc and Mountain State Children's Home to offer safe, joyful spaces for families to reconnect, express themselves through art, and receive small gifts of encouragement during the holidays. Children will create artwork that we’ll design onto t-shirts — turning their art into wearable strength. Parents will receive wellness kits, self-care items, and personalized messages of hope. All of this is only possible with your support.
🔒 To protect the privacy and safety of the families, this event is not open to the public — but your donations will be front and center in making it meaningful.

📣 Program Update: Confidence Closet (31 Jul 26)
Today marks another exciting milestone for Ronin Project — thanks to the generosity of our community, we’ve collected nearly 300 clothing and essential items to launch our year-round Confidence Closet.
From everyday clothing and professional attire to children’s clothing, infant essentials, shoes, and accessories, every donation helps ensure individuals and families receiving services through Ronin Project have access to practical support when they need it most.
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our mission, and helped build this resource. Your generosity is already making a lasting impact. 🖤♥️🤍✨
Need clothing assistance? Individuals and families may request services through Ronin Project by completing our service request form.
Requests are reviewed as part of our service process, and clothing is provided based on current inventory, available sizes, and individual needs. While we cannot guarantee specific sizes or styles, we’ll do our best to match each request with the resources we have available.
Our current inventory is strongest in women’s and children’s clothing, and we’re especially seeking men’s clothing donations to help us better serve our community.
*Since January 2026, our community has donated 274 clothing and essential items to support the Ronin Project Confidence Closet. Donations are accepted year-round, helping us continue restoring confidence, dignity, and hope—one person, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.
We’re excited to share a new way our community can show up for one another — the Ronin Project Confidence Closet & Seasonal Clothing Drives!
Every day, children, families, and neighbors in our community are doing their best to move forward while navigating hardship, trauma, or life transitions. And sometimes, something as simple as the right outfit can make all the difference — whether it’s staying warm in winter, feeling comfortable in summer, or showing up confidently to a job interview. So we’re launching a year-round, community-powered movement dedicated to dignity, stability, and confidence through clothing support.
Our Confidence Closet provides free, interview-ready and professional clothing to prepare for verified opportunities like job interviews, job fairs, conferences, and networking events. Because when someone is striving for a better future, clothing should never be the barrier that holds them back. The closet is open year-round — which means donations are needed year-round, too!
In addition to professional clothing, we’re accept seasonal clothing year-round:
We’re looking for gently used clothing for children, teens, and adults — plus new, unopened socks and undergarments. All items go directly to families invited through our partner connections or requested services.

Clothing is dignity. Clothing is safety. Clothing is confidence.
And together — we can provide all three.
All clothing donations can be mailed or *dropped off (*prior coordination required) at:
📍 Ronin Project

Thank you for helping us support families with dignity, warmth, and heart.
📣 Event Update: Change of Plans for 8 Dec 25
We wanted to share a quick update with our community: the December 8th Holiday HeARTs event we had been planning will no longer be taking place as originally scheduled due to unforeseen internal changes at the partner organization’s end.
While we’re disappointed, we completely understand and remain grateful for the ongoing work they do in support of survivors.
💙 The heart of this campaign is still going strong — and we’re already planning ahead.
✅ PeaceWorks is confirmed to join us again next year
🌟 We’re in active conversation with two additional Colorado locations for 2026
To everyone who supported and donated: thank you. Your belief in this mission means the world to us — and fuels everything we do.
📣 Event Update: Incollaboration with PeaceWorks, Inc (15 Nov 25)
Today marks an important milestone for Ronin Project — we held our first-ever Holiday HeARTs event in partnership with PeaceWorks, Inc. — bringing creativity, comfort, and connection to families in our Colorado community.
Thank you to everyone who donated supplies, shared our posts, and believed in this mission. And a huge thank you to Sabrina and Brenda from PeaceWorks for welcoming us with so much heart.
This is only the beginning, and we’re grateful to walk this journey with all of you. 🖤♥️🤍✨
*This event served 7 families and a total of 24 participants.
Ronin Project Podcast: Real Talk | Episode 6 – Holiday HeARTs
In this episode of Real Talk, we open up about why our Holiday HeARTs campaign means so much to us — not just as an organization, but as survivors, parents, and people who’ve lived through what we’re trying to help others escape.
Jennifer Hood, Jesse Purcell, David McGee, and guest speaker Heather Owens share lived experiences with domestic violence, poverty, incarceration, and survival — and how those journeys shaped the vision behind Holiday HeARTs.
This isn’t just about gifts or art projects. It’s about breaking generational cycles, offering safe creative spaces, and letting families in crisis know: You are not forgotten. You are not alone.
We talk openly about:
Growing up in and fleeing domestic violence
The emotional and psychological scars of survival
Why art and community are critical for healing
The practical support we’re offering — and what we still need
🎨 Holiday HeARTs is about giving families a moment of peace, dignity, and joy during one of the hardest times of year — especially for those in shelters, on the run, or rebuilding from nothing.
⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode includes candid discussions of domestic violence, childhood trauma, and abuse. Please listen with care.
📢 Help us make this campaign possible. If you’d like to support the families we’re serving.
